JO NOLTING-PHINNEY – OWNER/DIRECTOR, INSTRUCTOR, CHOREOGRAPHER

Jo has studied tap, jazz, ballet and pointe for many years in the St. Louis and Chicago area.  She spent 3 years in New York City studying extensively with Frank Hatchett, Madame Darvash, Michele Assaf, and Melissa Hayden and continues to stay up-to-date by attending workshops and taking class with Mia Michaels, Ray Leeper, and other fabulous teachers.  She performed many seasons at the St. Louis MUNY in both the children’s and adult choruses. Jo was a member of the Michael Simms Concert Dancers, performed with the Joffery Ballet Company of NY, and has performed and choreographed for many college musical productions.  She has appeared in the National television special, “Star Spangled Celebration” on the 4th of July with Ben Vereen, Suzanne Sommers and Chubby Checkers.  Jo has an degree in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Julie has studied tap, jazz and ballet for many years. She grew up dancing at Jo’s School of Dance and loves teaching and choreographing for our dancers.
